ETA: This person says this is a photograph of Yourna Byrd, not Billie Holiday. I welcome corrections, but there’s no need to be so sniffy about a fucking Tumblr photo, random person. 1) Despite your assertions to the contrary, this woman does resemble a very young Billie Holiday at this angle. 2) I did not have a date for this picture…how would I? The source post didn’t list one. 3) You might be wrong too. There are people who suggest that this is Valaida Snow and there are others who argue against that too. 4) So suck it.
