This is the cover to the edition I read as a kid. I liked the book, but I hated the cover art back then and I still think it’s creepy. I think the current cover art by Taeeun Yoo is much nicer:

My takeaway from these illustrations is that vegetables and fruit are violent bullies. Look at those poor french fries.
